About The Position

The Reinsurance Actuarial Intern position offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the reinsurance sector during the upcoming summer internship program. Interns will be immersed in various facets of the reinsurance industry, including actuarial analysis and client relations, providing a comprehensive introduction to the business and its culture. The internship program is designed to be very hands-on, allowing interns to participate in a rotational program that covers different aspects of the reinsurance broking business. Interns will assist actuaries in the production, design, analysis, and administration of reinsurance programs on behalf of client partners. They will also contribute to the development of actuarial tools and processes and assist in building stochastic underwriting models to analyze reinsurance structures. Throughout the internship, interns will be accountable to actuaries and senior actuaries, ensuring excellent and timely service to clients while developing their skills and knowledge in the field.
