About The Position

The Project Manager at Mitsubishi Electric Automation, Inc. (MEAU) is responsible for managing high-profile accounts and ensuring effective communication between various departments, authorized distributors, partners, and system integrators. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of MEAU's products and services, as well as the ability to coordinate project activities and resources to meet customer demands and timelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales, Application, and Engineering with exposure to Mitsubishi products.
  • Experience with project management practices.
  • Ability to motivate individuals through leadership and teamwork.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of MEAU products and ability to serve as a subject matter expert.
  • Technical writing skills and customer service skills.
  • Professional communication style and attitude.
  • Organizational skills for documents, demos, work area, and time management.

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management certification.
  • 5+ years of application solutions sales/support experience at end user and OEM customers.
  • Spanish and/or Japanese language skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a working understanding of all products and services offered by MEAU to impact Technical Sales, Service, and Marketing.
  • Understand all aspects of the assigned project from a commercial and technical standpoint.
  • Manage all third-party contractors associated with assigned projects.
  • Act as a Team Leader to keep Sales personnel, Field Application, and Project Engineers focused on specific project requirements.
  • Coordinate additional project opportunities with the Automotive Program Manager and other departments for thorough project coordination.
  • Provide updates on significant projects, identifying potential, Key Accounts, timelines, and manpower requirements.
  • Coordinate resources for fulfillment of support and services during all project phases to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Manage warranty, spare parts, and software maintenance programs and issues.
  • Assist in developing training strategies and programs for corporate and plant personnel requirements.
  • Investigate and document customer complaints regarding quality and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Coordinate hardware and software integration testing, including third-party controls products and IT systems.
  • Provide weekly status reports including timelines and progress updates.
  • Create Request for Quote and Quotations documents for vendors and customers as required.
  • Facilitate purchase requisitions and invoices for processing.
  • Attend engineering and progress meetings, leading run-off and addressing technical issues.

  • Competitive salary range of $105K - $133K per year.
