About The Position

The IHSC Compliance Program Analyst position is a critical role within the U.S. Public Health Service, specifically under the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), and the ICE Health Service Corps (IHSC). This non-supervisory position is designed for USPHS officers and Call to Active Duty (CAD) candidates, focusing on ensuring compliance with IHSC policies and accreditation standards. The analyst will be responsible for monitoring compliance across various initiatives, including the administration of internal reviews and quality management processes. This role requires collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to uphold the standards of the Quality Review Program and to assist in the development and implementation of compliance projects that align with the organization's goals. The analyst will work closely with the Senior Compliance Program Administrator to identify compliance-related issues and contribute to strategic planning efforts. This includes providing input on policies and procedures that affect operational efficiency and workload measurement. The position also involves developing and conducting compliance training, monitoring incidents and sentinel events, and documenting corrective actions. The analyst will engage in program diagnostics, data analysis, and the resolution of complex issues, all while enhancing the healthcare system's processes, such as quality improvement and risk management. In addition to these responsibilities, the IHSC Compliance Program Analyst will manage incoming actions and requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established policies. The role requires effective communication with senior management and the ability to design data reporting tools that support clinical processes and patient care delivery. The analyst will also be involved in the development of national tools and knowledge products, ensuring the accuracy of data and information shared within the organization. This position may require occasional travel, up to 35%, to fulfill its responsibilities effectively.
