About The Position

The Grocery R&D Intern position is a 12-week immersive internship designed for students pursuing a career in Research and Development within the consumer packaged goods sector. Interns will engage in hands-on experience, tackling meaningful business problems and collaborating cross-functionally to develop innovative solutions. The role will involve assisting the R&D team in executing innovation and renovation opportunities, including formulation and prototype development, testing, and commercialization of new products or processes. Interns will have the opportunity to work on various projects, including developing new products, improving existing formulas, and designing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. They will also provide technical support for production modifications and operate laboratory and pilot plant equipment while adhering to food safety and manufacturing policies. Specific project assignments will be determined based on business needs and intern interests prior to the start of the internship.
