About The Position
The Department of Biology at Penn State University is seeking part-time Learning Coordinators (LCs) to support the BiSc 003 biology course at Shaver's Creek Environmental Center. The Learning Coordinators will work closely with Teaching Assistants under the supervision of Jennifer Anderson during the academic year. Their primary responsibilities will include assisting in the organization of coursework, clarifying biology concepts for students, and conducting office hours and review sessions. The LCs will also play a crucial role in helping Teaching Assistants develop lesson plans, oversee assessment techniques, and provide constructive feedback on teaching methods during recitation sections. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about biology education and are looking to gain valuable experience in an academic setting.
