About The Position
As a Network/System Security Administrator II at ManTech International Corporation, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement. This position is based in El Segundo, CA, and is integral to supporting Special Access Programs (SAPs) and other classified networks that serve the SMC Directorates and/or AFSPC Operational Units. Your primary responsibilities will include providing day-to-day support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and SAP activities, ensuring that our network environment remains secure and efficient. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, auditing, and supporting a secure Microsoft Windows network environment, along with limited web and data application services. You will maintain various internet applications and protocols, including IP, TCP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, and SSL. Additionally, you will manage file servers, firewalls, network access, security monitoring systems, and system documentation as required. Your ability to interface with local customers and provide IT-related support will be essential in quickly resolving any issues that arise. You will also analyze and troubleshoot system anomalies to ensure optimal equipment performance, perform periodic maintenance, hardware upgrades, firmware updates, and system configuration changes. Regular tasks will include managing data backup libraries, performing scheduled tape backups, and preparing systems for operational use while supporting operational tests. Your technical guidance will be invaluable to the team as you attend planning and requirements meetings with IT staff, program managers, and customers.
