About The Position

The Mobile Phone-Computer Repair Technician & Customer Service role at uBreakiFix involves providing high-quality repair services for various electronic devices, including cellphones, computers, and game consoles. The technician will greet customers, diagnose issues, execute repairs according to OEM standards, and ensure a positive customer experience. This position also requires the technician to manage check-in and check-out procedures, operate the cash register, and recommend additional products and services to customers. Continuous training and certification in Google and Samsung repair standards are essential components of this role.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience as a cellphone/computer repair technician.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new skills quickly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Current FL driver license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work well in a small, close-knit team.
• Great attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous positive uBreakiFix work experience.
• Computer repair certifications (Apple/Mac, Microsoft, Samsung, Google, Asurion).
• Sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers cordially and provide superior customer service.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic devices.
• Execute repairs per OEM/Partner standards and return fully repaired devices to customers.
• Manage the check-in and check-out procedures, including cash register operations.
• Provide repair and replacement estimates to customers.
• Explain complex technical issues in a simple manner to customers.
• Keep track of all devices and inventory while safeguarding store stock.
• Utilize the point of sale system to maintain accurate customer records and repair statuses.
• Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of the store.
