The Engineering Systems Engineering Design Software team is searching for a motivated Mid-Level Software Developer - Engineering Systems to join our team in North Charleston, SC; Everett, WA; Kent, WA; or Renton, WA. As a part of the team, you will support our computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) suite of tools including the Dassault Systems CATIA and Enovia applications, as well as numerous Boeing-built plug-ins and stand-alone applications. In this mid-level role, you will help drive the implementation of new technologies to enable Boeing's world-class Engineering team while working with teammates to strengthen our existing software footprint. Position Responsibilities include driving the design, programming, testing, implementation, and documentation of complex computing applications and software or computing architecture and computing application system designs. You will collaborate with teammates on the analysis of end-user processes to define application requirements, write and compile complex code based on documented design, and design application architecture that integrates application software and delivery subsystems for specific applications. Additionally, you will modify or upgrade complex applications to maintain functionality and performance, identify and recommend system and application improvements, and resolve complex programming or application architecture problems. You will also help drive the development of custom software and integrations for current and future-state CAD/CAM solutions. This position is hybrid, requiring some work onsite at one of the listed location options, and must meet export control compliance requirements.
