Kemin is seeking a talented and dedicated Maintenance Technician to support the production efforts of the plant through maintenance and repair of equipment to assure maximum available uptime. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting breakdowns and quickly correcting problems to maintain operational efficiency. This position operates on a 12-hour rotating shift, working days from 7:00 AM to 7:15 PM, at the Kemin Nutrisurance facility in Verona, Missouri. The Maintenance Technician will report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and will play a crucial role in ensuring that all equipment is functioning optimally to support production goals. As part of the Kemin team, the Maintenance Technician will engage in various tasks including executing the Preventive Maintenance program, machine repair, welding, piping, and mechanical problem-solving. The role also involves fabricating and installing new processes that are being introduced into the production arena, as well as performing basic electrical troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to read blueprints and technical manuals, and will be qualified in Lockout-Tagout, Confined Space, Hot-Work Procedures, and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
