About The Position

The HR Specialist II - Workday/HRIS at TRIMEDX plays a crucial role in supporting various centers of excellence within the Human Resources Department. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about enhancing HR processes and providing exceptional support to associates. The HR Specialist will engage in a variety of functions, including Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, Business Partnering, Talent Development, and Shared Services. The role involves onboarding new employees, managing metrics, and providing general HRIS transactional support in Workday. Additionally, the HR Specialist will assist associates with inquiries, contribute to department presentations, and support Talent Development course offerings. The position also serves as a resource for ISO Certification, ensuring compliance and quality standards are met. Located in Indianapolis, Indiana, this hybrid position allows for a mix of remote and in-office work, with occasional business travel as necessary. Candidates should reside within approximately a 70-mile radius of Indianapolis. The HR Specialist will be responsible for addressing Workday-related questions, ensuring system accessibility, and resolving HRIS issues in a timely manner. This role requires collaboration with IT and other departments to maintain effective system functionality and support HR teams and end users with technical issues and configurations in Workday. The HR Specialist will also contribute to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, assist in achieving departmental goals, and provide reporting and metrics as assigned. Overall, this position is integral to fostering a supportive and efficient HR environment that prioritizes associate engagement and satisfaction.
