As a Fleet Operations Associate at Zipcar, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our fleet of vehicles is clean, well-maintained, and ready for our members. This position requires you to be active throughout the city, utilizing various modes of transportation such as foot, bike, public transit, or even a Zipcar to transport vehicles to their designated locations. Your responsibilities will include performing essential maintenance tasks such as changing tires, filling gas tanks, and cleaning vehicles to ensure they meet our high standards of readiness for our members. Additionally, you will assist in coordinating towing or repairs when necessary, making your role vital to the overall member experience. In this position, you will be the front line of our operations team, directly impacting member satisfaction. Your ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks effectively will be key to your success. You will need to communicate clearly with the operations team to provide timely updates on vehicle status and availability. Flexibility is essential, as you will be expected to work a 40-hour week that includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The role also requires a willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and the physical ability to carry tools and marketing materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
