About The Position
The Fire Sprinkler Fitter position in Bozeman, Montana, is a permanent role with a reputable company that values its employees and the economy. The company is urgently seeking experienced Fire Sprinkler Fitters who are eager to learn, grow, and take on leadership roles. The primary responsibility of this position involves the installation of Automatic Fire Sprinkler Systems (AFSS) in compliance with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards, as well as state and local codes. The ideal candidate will have experience dealing with a variety of fire hazards and occupancies, particularly in new construction and remodeled buildings. Experience in specific environments such as medical offices, school buildings, military bases, high rises, tunneling, and warehouses is highly desirable. In this role, the Fire Sprinkler Fitter will be expected to perform installations based on project management drawings and instructions. The position may also require leading a small team depending on the specific job site and team size. Effective communication with project managers is crucial to ensure safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness during installations. Additionally, the fitter will be responsible for receiving, coordinating, and distributing materials to facilitate safe and efficient installations. The ability to identify, diagnose, and repair existing fire sprinkler systems on-site is also a key component of this role. Maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient working environment is paramount.
