About The Position
The Family First Prevention Services Specialist plays a crucial role in the statewide implementation, development, and oversight of prevention services under the Family First Prevention Services Act (FFPSA). This position aims to enhance support services for families, helping children remain at home and reducing unnecessary congregate care placements. The specialist will advise counties and state-wide partners on best practices to increase the utilization of evidence-based services and expand the array of services available across Colorado.
