As a Concrete Laborer at Dirt Werks AG LLC, you will be an integral part of our construction team, contributing to various tasks associated with concrete work. This position requires a hands-on approach to support construction projects, ensuring that all concrete-related activities are executed efficiently and safely. You will assist in setting up and preparing construction sites for concrete pours, which involves a range of responsibilities from operating machinery to interpreting blueprints. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that concrete is placed accurately and meets the specifications outlined in project plans. In this position, you will operate and maintain essential equipment such as laser levels, skid steers, mini excavators, tampers, drills, and concrete forms. Your ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics will be crucial for ensuring the precise placement of concrete. Additionally, you will perform basic carpentry tasks, including framing and plastering, which are essential for preparing the site for concrete work. Your mechanical knowledge will also come into play as you troubleshoot any equipment issues that may arise during the construction process. Driving commercial vehicles to transport materials will be part of your responsibilities, so a valid commercial driving license is preferred. This role is physically demanding and requires a strong understanding of construction site safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
