The majority of our client's products are built at their Indianapolis facility, which employs approximately 4,000 individuals across manufacturing, assembly, testing, engineering, and various staff support roles. Currently, they are looking to add a Buyer / Purchasing Agent to their team. This position is crucial for ensuring that procurement processes are followed and that the company maintains strong relationships with its suppliers and stakeholders. The Buyer / Purchasing Agent will be responsible for managing the procurement workflow, which includes monitoring and reporting on task progression, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with procurement procedures. The role requires a proactive approach to building relationships with stakeholders across all areas of the business and regions, as well as effective communication and problem-solving skills to resolve any issues related to invoices and supplier agreements.
