About The Position

The Engagement Manager position at WORK is a pivotal role within the Development Department, focusing on engaging and expanding a portfolio of supporters and partners to achieve our fundraising objectives. Located in Pittsburgh, PA, this full-time position operates in a hybrid model, allowing for both in-office and remote work. The Engagement Manager will report directly to the Director of Engagement and is expected to start in Fall 2024. The primary mission of WORK is to assist families in Haiti and beyond in escaping poverty through dignified employment opportunities. We aim to ensure that two heads of household are in sustainable jobs, enabling families to achieve long-term financial independence. Our approach involves collaborating with families and communities to identify their needs, co-designing programs, and investing in local leaders and infrastructure. We are committed to supporting the communities we serve until they no longer require our assistance, regardless of the time it takes. In this role, the Engagement Manager will be responsible for donor retention, engagement, and conversion for a specific portfolio of one-time and recurring donors. This includes managing fundraising campaigns, planning and executing small donor events, and connecting donors with our impactful work across various countries. The ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial mindset, be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have a genuine interest in engaging new supporters.
