About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated EMT to join our team at the Saratoga Summit Estate Recovery Center. In this part-time role, you will provide crucial assistance to residents in a Drug and Alcohol Rehab Center, working in a fast-paced and rewarding environment where your skills can make a real difference.

Requirements

• EMT Certification
• Driver's License
• Experience with Substance Use Detoxification
• Proficiency in medical terminology
• Experience in medication observation
• Familiarity with urgent care and emergency medicine practices
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments
• Valid driver's license for transporting patients safely

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in an ER setting

Responsibilities

• Experience with Substance Use Detoxification
• Observe medications and assist residents with Doctor's visits
• Transport residents safely to medical appointments as necessary
• Communicate effectively with residents and clinical staff
• Maintain accurate resident care documentation with our EMR system KIPU
• Proficiency in medical terminology
• Experience in medication observation
• Familiarity with urgent care and emergency medicine practices
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments with multiple intakes
• Valid driver's license for transporting patients safely
• Previous experience in an ER setting is advantageous
