About The Position
As an Experienced Concrete Finisher at Prairie Scale Systems, Inc., you will play a crucial role in our construction crews that handle the installation and remodeling of scale sites across North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, and Montana. This position requires a motivated individual with a solid background in concrete work, who can operate independently while also being a supportive team player. You will be responsible for various tasks that include traveling to job sites in company-provided vehicles, which may involve overnight stays during the workweek. Your primary duties will involve taking direction from the foreman, operating hand and power tools, and managing equipment such as skid steers and forklifts. In addition to these responsibilities, you will be tasked with assembling and disassembling concrete forms, shoring, and bracing, as well as assisting with excavation and site work. You will also be involved in placing and finishing concrete, maintaining tools and equipment, and ensuring a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills and knowledge to perform these tasks effectively, while also demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt to various working conditions, including heat, cold, and dust. Physical demands include prolonged periods of standing, working in confined spaces, and lifting up to 60 lbs unassisted. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage starting at $28.18, with opportunities for overtime and bonuses based on experience and capabilities.
