About The Position
As a Claims Adjuster Trainee, you will embark on a comprehensive training program designed to equip you with the skills necessary to assist customers in navigating the claims process after an accident. This role is not field-based; instead, you will engage with customers primarily over the phone, fostering relationships and providing support in a fast-paced environment. Throughout your training, you will learn to manage a full caseload of claims efficiently, guiding each case from initiation to resolution. You will receive ongoing coaching from experienced leaders and collaborate with a supportive team, ensuring you have the resources needed to succeed. The training will cover essential topics such as property damage assessment and understanding insurance contracts, enabling you to adjust claims with confidence and independence. This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing you to work in the office two days a week, as determined by local leadership, while choosing your work location for the remaining three days. This flexibility is designed to enhance your learning experience and foster connections with colleagues, as you will be encouraged to participate in important meetings and training sessions in the office as needed. Upon completion of your training, you will be responsible for determining coverage and liability, interviewing customers and witnesses, partnering with appraisers to manage vehicle repairs, and negotiating with customers and other insurance carriers to resolve claims effectively.
