About The Position

Home Instead is a non-medical senior care organization that specializes in providing companionship and personal care for seniors and special needs patients. We are dedicated to enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community, and we are currently seeking caring and compassionate individuals to join our team as caregivers. This position requires fluency in both English and Spanish, as effective communication with our clients is essential. The role is primarily day shift, Monday to Friday, based in Boca Raton, FL. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to seniors in their private residences or in facilities, ensuring they receive the care and companionship they need to thrive. The ideal candidate will have experience in the caregiving field and possess the ability to treat and care for seniors and special needs clients with dignity and respect. You will be expected to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner, fostering a positive and supportive environment. If you drive, you must have a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance, and you will need to successfully pass a DMV and drug screening check. Your duties will include, but are not limited to, providing companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, running errands, and assisting clients to and from appointments. You will also help with activities of daily living such as dressing, grooming, feeding, incontinence care, and transferring. Additionally, specialized care for clients with Alzheimer's and Dementia will be part of your responsibilities. We offer a comprehensive compensation package that includes base pay, unlimited bonus programs, and a full benefits package. If hired, you will become an employee, and we will handle your payroll taxes, providing you with a W2 tax return. You will also earn 1.5 times your pay rate for working overtime and holidays.
