The Business Solutions Architect (WMS) at Crocs is a pivotal role responsible for supporting, coordinating, and actively participating in system projects and solution support for applications utilized within the Crocs Inc. network of Distribution Centers. The primary focus of this position is on the Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMOS18), although other existing Distribution Center (DC) applications may also fall under its purview as needed. This role requires an experienced systems resource who is well-versed in distribution center processes and their translation into IT applications. The Business Solutions Architect will collaborate with multiple departments to identify areas for process or system improvement, ensuring that the applications effectively support the operational needs of the organization. In addition to technical expertise, this role involves managing a team of Business Solutions Analysts who provide production support for the Manhattan Warehouse Management System and other DC systems. The architect will own the configuration, building, or enhancement of DC systems to support internal business functions, develop and maintain expertise on system functional flow at the Distribution Center, and manage regional business process design and configuration of WM or related DC systems applications. The position also entails partnering with global peers to establish and maintain best practices across DC system support teams, managing incoming queries and requests from Distribution Center end users, and acting as a point of escalation for production-impacting system issues. The Business Solutions Architect will be responsible for gathering required information related to requests, troubleshooting to determine root causes, and providing solutions to end users. This includes replicating issues in non-production environments and escalating them to the appropriate IT departments when necessary. The role requires establishing good working relationships with all levels of Operations, identifying pain points, and opportunities for additional training, as well as reviewing and consulting on business processes to recommend improvements. The architect will also develop and run functional unit test procedures to ensure that development aligns with business requirements and functional specifications prior to release for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) or other testing for projects and systems impacting Distribution Centers.
