About The Position
At Aquila Technology, we are dedicated to building robust, policy-compliant IT systems and ensuring that our solutions are effective and efficient. As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will play a crucial role in supporting one of the country's premier defense research organizations. Your mission will be to provide essential Finance, Travel, and Property services that are vital for world-class research and development. The organization is currently undergoing changes to its accounting practices, which necessitates additional resources to support both system application and policy changes. In this role, you will actively participate in the architecture and hands-on development of applications using the Power Platform. You will lead all aspects of the design and development of a new application that is expected to be flexible and scalable. Your responsibilities will include creating system documentation and enterprise-level Standard Operating Procedures, developing applications from the ground up utilizing object-oriented programming, and collaborating with the team to translate user stories into functional code. You will also be responsible for identifying critical dependencies, solving technical challenges, and implementing enhancements to improve system performance. Your expertise in Business Intelligence tools and data analysis will be essential as you work to support the deployment process and conduct post-deployment reviews. You will train staff on troubleshooting and building solutions, ensuring that best practices for version control and development management are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
