About The Position
Temasek is a global investment company headquartered in Singapore, known for its active investment strategies and long-term investment horizon. The Public Markets team, part of the Investment Group, is seeking a junior investment professional at the Associate or Senior Associate level to join its New York office. This team manages discretionary portfolios and collaborates closely with colleagues across various global offices to generate, analyze, and implement investment ideas, hedging strategies, and yield-enhancement initiatives across single stocks and indices worldwide. The selected candidate will engage in all aspects of the investment process, including conducting due diligence, obtaining committee approvals, and monitoring investments post-approval. Responsibilities will include evaluating new investment ideas, monitoring portfolio performance, creating presentations for the investment committee, and eventually recommending new investment opportunities. The role requires a proactive approach and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a global team.
