About The Position
20/20 Inspections Inc. is seeking an AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to join our team in New York, NY. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $40 to $55, depending on experience. As a CWI, you will play a crucial role in our Special Inspections and Testing company, which provides expert engineering building solutions across the Tri-State area. Our services encompass all required and applicable city, national, and international code testing and inspections, ensuring safety and compliance with building codes. In this role, you will be responsible for traveling to various project sites daily, monitoring construction operations, and utilizing field testing procedures and equipment to conduct necessary inspections and testing. Your work will involve ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications, preparing Daily Field Reports, and effectively communicating any deficiencies observed in the field to project managers, contractors, and client representatives. You will also interpret project-related drawings and documents, contributing to the overall success of the projects we undertake.
