About The Position

The position involves cleaning and maintaining assigned areas, controlling parts including gaskets, and replacing broken or missing parts. The role requires setting up in the assigned department or other lines and involves the responsible mixing of cleaning solutions and other chemicals.

Requirements

• Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shift hours.
• Ability to work cooperatively with supervisors and coworkers.
• Sound work ethic, honesty, and moral character.
• Basic understanding of machinery tear down and setup.
• Clean up (parts) experience.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math functions and skills.
• Poultry experience preferred but not required.
• Basic chemical understanding.

Responsibilities

• Use chemicals to clean and sanitize all machinery and areas assigned.
• Tear down machinery at the beginning of the cleanup shift.
• Help set up before production starts in the morning.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor, area leader, and Sanitation Manager.
• Follow directions and work in other departments as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
