About The Position

The Production/Manufacturing Worker is responsible for providing graphite components to Carbon Cell, receiving new material, and shipping finished goods to 1M2. Key duties include tracking, tracing, and updating the status of incoming and outgoing shipments, kitting all graphite needs for daily production, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, unloading deliveries, sorting and stocking receivables, reporting equipment issues, inspecting finished products for quality, communicating problems, supporting the team in various areas, and following established work instructions. The role requires working independently while being a team player with minimal supervision, and availability for overtime is obligatory when required. A high priority is placed on maintaining safe and clean workspaces.

Requirements

  • Experience reading procedures and/or machining work orders.
  • Experience using standard quality inspection tools and gages.
  • Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Requires 1-2 years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and reasoning ability in a manufacturing environment.
  • Reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage inventory and meet tight deadlines while ensuring quality control and customer satisfaction.
  • Team player able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without confusion.
  • Hard worker, intensely driven, determined, goal-oriented, and intrinsically motivated.

Responsibilities

  • Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Kits all graphite needs for the daily production.
  • Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
  • Promptly unloads deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables.
  • Reports failures, malfunctions, or wear issues on equipment to supervisor.
  • Inspects finished products to verify conformity to quality standards.
  • Communicates any problems that might arise during the process.
  • Supports the team in other areas.
  • Follows established work instructions.
  • Works independently but is a team player with minimum supervision.
  • Availability for overtime is obligatory when required.
  • Prioritizes having safe and clean workspaces.
