About The Position

The Intern position at Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits offers a comprehensive immersion into the wine and spirits industry, providing exposure to various career paths including Sales, Trade Development, Operations, Technology, and Corporate functions. This structured internship is designed to equip students with knowledge and understanding of the alcohol distribution industry through hands-on experience across multiple teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency plus one year of experience.
• Maintain at a minimum a 2.0 GPA (Grade Point Average).
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Work with a variety of teams to become familiar in all aspects of Accounting.
• Support the Accounting departments including Category Management, Distribution Warehouse Sales (DWS), Point of Sales (POS), Chain Merchandising Divisions, and Graphics.
• Participate in training, on-site meetings, and department-wide learning opportunities as available.
• Support the team with additional projects as assigned and defined by the student's specific learning goals.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
