Infrastructure is one of five job families within Information Technology. Roles within this job family provide and apply expertise in planning, coordinating, implementing, maintaining hardware, software infrastructure and services for the enterprise.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Management Information Systems.
  • Must provide a current, unofficial transcript with online resume (as proof of good academic standing) when applying for this position to be considered.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge or experience in code/script languages to automate cloud services including, C#, PowerShell, HTML, Python, YAML, Ansible.
  • Knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Knowledge or experience in Microsoft Windows Server and Linux Operating Systems (Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Alma Linux, CentOS, and Ubuntu).
  • Knowledge or experience in Hypervisor Environments such as Hyper-V, VMWare, or other virtualization technologies.
  • Knowledge or experience in Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, Microsoft 365 Certification, knowledge, or experience with Agile or SAFe methodology.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in Azure Cloud/Digital related business requirement discussions and design through SAFE Agile ceremonies.
  • Perform Azure cloud work such as logical system design, cloud architecture analysis and design, and systems engineering.
  • Implement and automate Azure services through DevOps Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Design and implement application security for Azure cloud native solutions.
  • Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and data protection services in accordance with company security policies and best practices.
  • Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot Azure environments and services.
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams to identify optimal cloud solutions.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve vulnerabilities and deployment issues.
  • Work and collaborate with managed-service providers to achieve optimum support and operations of the infrastructure environment.
