About The Position
Isidore Newman School seeks a talented and dynamic History educator to serve as a long-term substitute teacher from February 18, 2025 for a period of two to four weeks. Teaching responsibilities will include three sections of 'Government and Economic Systems,' a ninth-grade civics-based course that introduces students to the purposes, structures and functions of various forms of government; one section of 'US History,' a standard survey of American History for juniors; and one section of 'Global Studies: Middle East,' a study of the contemporary Middle East and its place in the 21st century world for seniors. This position is anticipated to last from approximately February 18 to approximately March 14.
