Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts to load, unload, transport, or stack materials.
• Manually or mechanically load or unload materials from various transport vehicles.
• Drive gasoline- or electric-powered trucks to transport materials between areas.
• Position lifting devices under or around loaded pallets and secure materials for transport.
• Inspect product loads for accuracy and ensure timely delivery within the facility.
• Signal workers to discharge or level materials as needed.
• Weigh materials or products and record data accurately.
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment.
