About The Position
AACA teachers must be excellent in developing K-8 students into self-motivated, self-disciplined and socially responsible learners. The AACA philosophy respects diversity and whole child development: cognitive, emotional, social, and physical. Curriculum, instruction, and assessment strategies must apply academic learning to real-life activities through project-based programs providing advanced opportunities in science, technology, languages and the arts. Teachers are expected to build programs that foster thinking which is original, critical, collaborative and reflective.
