About the position

Minted is excited to hire a Manager, Business Analytics. The Analytics team uses rigorous analytics to generate insights from granular data that inform overall business strategy as well as product, merchandising, community, and business decisions across the company and across the idea lifecycle -- from inception to execution and via continuous improvement. This work ultimately strengthens Minted’s marketplace, leading us to stronger growth and profitability and helping us continuously improve the experience for consumers and artists on our platform.


Reporting to the Director of Business Analytics and partnering with a small but mighty group of likeminded analysts, the Manager will measure and drive the success of Minted’s consumer and product strategies. A successful candidate will be passionate about e-commerce & direct-to-consumer businesses, comfortable working in a growth-focused and fast-paced environment, have an analytical/quantitative background, as well as hands-on experience with advanced methods and complex datasets. The perfect fit is someone who loves getting into the details in search of meaningful insights while maintaining a holistic view of factors driving the business. We need someone who prides themselves in the accuracy and impactfulness of their work and sits on the sweet spot of business, data, and technology. Still working on each of those pillars? Requirements

  • 5+ years driving business insight and supporting quantitatively strong and curious business partners, preferably in the DTC (direct to consumer) and / or crowdsourcing space(s)
  • Strong SQL analysis skills and experience with Snowflake
  • A breadth of domain knowledge: customer lifecycle / CRM / segmentation, marketing funnels and metrics, A/B testing, crowdsourcing, advanced measurement, customer experience, finance, and qualitative insight
  • Experience working with large quantities of raw, disorganized data
  • Experience using reporting tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau), scripting (javascript/python/html/shell), and statistical tools (e.g., R, SPSS) are all pluses in our book
  • Outstanding follow-up, organization, and time management skills

Responsibilities

You Will:

  • Collaborate with the product management and merchandising teams to uncover important site engagement insights and conversion drivers to inform product feature and assortment decisions
  • Work closely with the eCommerce, Product Management & Business Category teams to support ad-hoc analyses, weekly performance trends and also test & measure initiatives to promote growth using A/B testing
  • Support all the A/B testing initiatives across Customer Analytics, from creating the experiment design and testing brief, to executing the test, analyzing the results, and providing insights & recommendations on next steps
  • Co-own the site instrumentation standards & practice, along with Product Management & Engineering
  • Design and build self-service dashboards using a mixture of analytical and visualization techniques, deriving actionable insight from data
