About the position

As a Data Analyst at Bev, you will provide data analytics using fact‐based insights to support key business decisions internally to drive growth. You will be uncovering strategic insights in our data, packaging recommendations into compelling presentations, and building internal tools and dashboards to grow and empower the organization. You should be able to clearly and effectively communicate insights across all departments in a way that builds confidence and enables decisions that drive business value. An ideal candidate will have a high degree of curiosity about the business, the skills to discover impactful insights from data, and a passion for our mission.

Requirements

  • Quantitative degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, or similar quantitative analytics discipline
  • 4-6 years of experience as an analyst or similar role, preferably with a CPG company
  • Experience with a top consulting firm preferred
  • Ability to organize, present, and explain complex data in a clear manner
  • Ability to work effectively with a cross functional team
  • Ability to learn quickly, be a team player and manage change effectively
  • Solid foundation of category management principles, shopper metrics and experience with conducting promotional analyses in the CPG industry

Responsibilities

  • Apply common statistical methods, data modeling, and predictive analysis to answer strategic questions for the online business
  • Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in the company’s data sets in order to improve our specific knowledge of our Brand’s customers, their preferences and expectations
  • Create quantitative and qualitative reports and studies to make recommendations on marketing initiatives, operations processes & our approach to customer support
  • Document data definitions, key metrics, and reports, ensuring alignment and consistency in reporting across the company
  • Proactively seek and frame opportunities and identify business risks
  • Build and maintain a strong working knowledge of current trends in Marketing, Market Research, and CPG Industries
