The Art Director should have some experience managing other designers (in-house or freelance) and working with brand strategists and leadership. They should have a roll-up-my-sleeves attitude, a collaborative and team-focused orientation, and be able to see a project through from conception through production, anticipating roadblocks and solving problems. This role is perfect for an Art Director who loves production, team management, and would like an opportunity to grow into a Creative Director role at a small, dynamic agency.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines with the ability to switch work streams easily and take on multiple projects at any time.
  • Resourceful, solution finder, process driven, always willing to improve standards and communicate with team on deadlines, processes and briefs.
  • Portfolio should demonstrate strategy behind projects and solutions implemented via design thinking.
  • Extensive knowledge of typography, layout, color sense and the latest design tools including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
