Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking production engineers to join our team at Aptos, a people-first blockchain company. In this role, you will be responsible for developing core blockchain node software and ecosystem infrastructure. Your tasks will include implementing the blockchain node reference deployment, building automation tools, and supporting the growth of our node operator and developer ecosystem. • Developing high-quality technical content such as automation tools and reference architectures
• Writing and reviewing code, developing documentation, and debugging problems on Aptos blockchain tech stacks
• Designing, developing, and deploying new systems to enhance throughput, latency, reliability, availability, and security for the blockchain and ecosystem services
• Sharing an on-call rotation and being an escalation contact for service incidents
• Having 5+ years of experience in backend software or infrastructure
• Having 5+ years of experience with operating systems and TCP/IP network fundamentals
• Having 5+ years of experience coding in higher-level languages (e.g., Rust, Python, C++, or Java)
• Having 5+ years of experience learning software, frameworks, and APIs
• Having experience in Terraform, Helm, Kubernetes
• Having experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or other cloud environments
• Having experience with blockchain and crypto (Bitcoin, Ethereum, DeFi, etc.)
• Possessing strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and simply
• Demonstrating the ability to quickly learn unfamiliar technologies
• Understanding customer requirements and identifying appropriate solutions
• Having strong interpersonal skills working with Engineers

• 5+ years experience in backend software or infrastructure
