The responsibilities include providing expertise in software development, working closely with agile teams and customers, and ensuring the reliability and availability of Pega's BRE and BPM Platform.
Responsibilities
- Provide expertise and direction in the development and/or modification of computer-based software systems
- Design, develop, code, test, and debug software
- Work in areas such as software design, engineering evaluation or test, configuration management procedures, statistical analysis and modeling
- Implement a Pega based case management system with multiple integration and backend services
- Define existing or new system scope and objectives with users
- Provide analytical support and technical advice during conceptualization, development, and implementation phases
- Plan and schedule new application systems projects
- Identify and document hazards within software systems using analysis tools and techniques
- Review and evaluate systems and software for adherence to government or commercial directives, standards, guidelines, and criteria
- Confirm design mitigations are captured in the design and its documentation and verify implementation
- Lead and monitor the performance of assigned systems developers/analysts on a specific project
- Ensure reliability and availability of Pega's BRE and BPM Platform
- Create customized flows and action forms to align with business requirements
- Create activities and steps for implementing Core Business Logic
- Apply business rules to streamline information presented to clients, scrum teams, and senior leadership
- Identify reporting requirements for general business functionality, non-functionality needs, and required data attributes
- Validate code for compliance with standards and Pega Guardrails
- Oversee testing and debugging, identify and mitigate risks or defects
- Collaborate across multiple Agile Release Trains providing expertise to cross-functional scrum teams and support to the Release Train Engineer
Requirements
- Bachelors degree with 12 years of experience or advanced degree with 10 years of experience
- Active Secret clearance required
- Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA)
- Understanding of BPM, BRE and creating web applications that are process oriented.
- Identifies reusable functionality and implementing it as a reusable component.
- Exposure to web services (SOAP, RESTful, XML, JSON, etc.)
- Understanding of PRPC flows, decisions, and rules
- Knowledge of IT standards, methodologies, system development life cycle and project management frameworks
- Experience in Pega Customer Process Manager (CPM)
- Certified LSA
