About the position
As RevenueCat's first Market Development Representative, you will be responsible for qualifying potential customers and serving as the initial point of contact. Your main objectives will be to showcase a deep understanding of our product, answer high-level questions, and provide timely follow-up. This role is part of our Marketing team and will support our growing Sales organization as we expand our go-to-market efforts. Success in this role will require a customer-centric approach and a passion for delivering value to our users.
Responsibilities
- Qualify potential RevenueCat customers
- Provide initial touch point for potential customers
- Showcase deep product understanding
- Answer high level questions on capabilities, technology, and unique differentiating value
- Be empathetic, honest, and follow up with additional answers and next steps in a timely manner
- Support a growing Sales org as we scale our go-to-market efforts
- Deliver value for users in every interaction
- Become a true product expert
- Surpass potential customers' expectations
- Learn the product, personas, positioning, process, and systems
- Listen to and shadow customer calls
- Handle inbound requests
- Deeply understand the product, business value, and technology advantages
- Handle 50-60 [unspecified tasks]
Requirements
- 1-3 years of successful sales experience, preferably in SaaS
- Current knowledge on software development, preferably in mobile
- Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening and writing skills
- A self-starter with a track record of successful, credible achievements
- Proficient in the use of Salesforce and LinkedIn
- Experience with platform-as-a-service, developer tooling, and the mobile space preferred
- Comfortable with ambiguity and being an early stage startup hire
- Native fluency in English, with native/bilingual level fluency in French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, or Korean being a plus
