About The Position

Soccer Shots is seeking a passionate part-time Youth Soccer Coach to serve children ages 2-8. This role involves leading engaging soccer sessions, fostering character development, and creating a fun, safe, and inclusive environment. While coaching can be demanding, it is a rewarding experience where you can make a positive impact on children's lives. The position is for local candidates only, with no work status or visa sponsorship available. Sessions are held in Piedmont and Montclair.

Requirements

Genuine passion for children and sports
Safety conscious
Access to reliable transportation
Ability to stand, jog, and model children’s soccer skills
Must be available to work one day out of the weekend.
A full ten-week commitment is required to take on a lead role.

Responsibilities

Bring “Soccer Island” alive with your enthusiasm and creativity
Conduct soccer sessions for children 2 to 8 years old, including field set-up and take-down
Encourage character development through positive reinforcement and modeling
Utilize expert-created Soccer Shots’ curriculum and early childhood development teaching techniques in every session
Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all participants
Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and teachers
