Responsibilities

• Maintain security and order within the facility
• Conduct regular inspections and searches of clients and their living areas
• Monitor client behavior and enforce rules and regulations
• Respond to emergencies, such as fights or medical situations
• Conduct client counts and maintain accurate records
• Escort juvenile clients to and from various locations within the facility
• Write detailed reports on incidents, disciplinary actions, and client behavior

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Associate's degree
• 1 year of experience as a youth counselor (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong observation skills to detect potential security threats
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations
• Good problem-solving skills to handle conflicts and emergencies
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform job duties effectively
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to policies and procedures
