About The Position

This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and condition of assigned areas, including checking for maintenance needs or damage, cleaning and sweeping various areas such as elevators, lobbies, and restrooms, and ensuring supplies are stocked in restrooms.

Responsibilities

• Check all assigned areas and promptly report any areas requiring special maintenance or that are damaged to the supervisor.
• Throughout the day, check assigned areas for general condition.
• Check elevators in the assigned section, sweep elevator carpets, wipe button panels with a dry cloth, dust baseboards, and remove fingerprints from glass doors.
• Clean and sweep the entry on 50th and 51st streets, and wipe fingerprints off glass doors.
• Sweep and vacuum rain mats and saddles to doors if necessary.
• Sweep and clean the center lobby area and wipe down desks.
• Dust and clean marble console tops and all chairs in the lobby, including the legs of chairs.
• Clean and maintain restrooms in the assigned area, ensuring supplies are stocked, stalls and toilets are clean, countertops are wiped, and trash is taken out.
