About The Position

At Prinsco, our yards are where teamwork, safety, and pride in workmanship come together. We’re looking for a Yard Worker who is dependable, safety focused, and ready to contribute to a team that lives our values every day. In this role, you’ll help load and unload products, organize and maintain yard inventory, operate equipment safely, and support drivers and customers with a respectful, professional attitude. You’ll also have opportunities to learn new skills through cross training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required or in the process of completion
• A minimum of three months’ work experience
• Effective communication skills with the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram forms
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds consistently, 50 pounds 1/3 of the day, & 75 pounds less than 1/3 of the day
• Using hands and reaching with hands/arms for over 2/3 of the workday
• Standing, walking, climbing, or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling for over 2/3 of the workday
• Distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate colors
• Ability to work in a production environment that is not temperature controlled and occasionally in varying outdoor weather conditions
• Ability to work in a loud noise environment
• Demonstrate commitment to high personal & professional ethical standards
