About The Position

The Yard Operations Specialist is responsible for the effective daily coordination and monitoring of delivery activities through timely and accurate dispatch of trailers into and out of the yard. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and excellent customer service skills. Experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Yard Management Systems.

Requirements

• One year of relevant work experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and logical thinking
• Must possess excellent customer service skills and work well under pressure
• Computer experience with Microsoft Office preferred
• Yard Management System experience preferred
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently, and/or within a team, across all levels and diverse cultures
• Must pass pre-employment background check

Responsibilities

• Coordinate warehouse and transportation shipping schedules
• Perform inbound trailer inspections to ensure compliance with security protocol
• Handle and resolve conflict
• Maintain clean, safe, efficient work environment
• Check-in/out truck drivers using Yard Management System
