About the position
The X-Ray Technologist is responsible for administering x-rays to various anatomical regions of the body, producing clinically diagnostic images that assist physicians in diagnosing diseases and injuries across all age groups, including newborns, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. This role involves operating x-ray equipment, developing film, and preparing the examination room for radiological procedures.
Responsibilities
- Administer x-rays to various anatomy of the body.
- Produce clinically diagnostic images to assist physicians in diagnosis.
- Operate x-ray equipment and develop film.
- Prepare the room for radiological procedures.
Requirements
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology or registry eligible.
- If registry eligible, must be a graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
- Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
