The X-Ray Tech - Medical Assistant position at CareNow involves performing various clinical duties to support healthcare providers and nursing staff. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations within the clinic, contributing to patient care, and maintaining high customer satisfaction. The position is full-time and offers a sign-on bonus for new hires.

Responsibilities

• Perform various clinical duties in support of providers and nursing staff, including taking vital signs, patient history, lab specimens, and EKGs.
• Apply splints, dressings, and bandages as directed.
• Prepare, maintain, and clean exam rooms.
• Check patients in and out of the computer system and assist the Patient Representative with front desk duties.
• Greet patients and assist with End of Day closeout procedures, patient interactions, lobby checks, and records release.
• Maintain records and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, and lab work sent out to other labs.
• Perform equipment and supply audits as scheduled.
• Work closely with the Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front Desk Coordinator, and all clinic staff to maintain smooth operations.

Requirements

• High School graduate as required by the state.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services required.
• Limited Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT) license in state of residency.
• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is beneficial.
• Ability to obtain a BLS Certification within 30 days of start.
• Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.
