About The Position

We're looking for a passionate Wound Care Nurse (RN) who is responsible for the oversight of the Skin Integrity program in the center and supervision of implementation of the program on the nursing units. Additional duties include implementing treatments and interventions as ordered by the physician and according to policy and procedures, notifying the physician of the condition of wounds, changes and needed treatment changes, maintaining appropriate inventory of skin and wound care supplies, ensuring accuracy and completion of wound care documentation, performing and recording all measurements, and administering treatments as ordered by the physician and according to policy and procedures, ensuring accuracy and completion of TAR.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Minimum of 1 year of professional nursing experience required.
  • Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in the State of Hawaii required.

Nice To Haves

  • Wound care certification preferred but will train
