About the position

The position involves assisting with labor forecasting and planning, ensuring that all personnel requisitions are filed and filled appropriately. The role requires understanding workforce placement, identifying gaps, and taking necessary actions to maintain operational stability, including managing the labor pool. The individual will advise managers and directors on current labor needs and suggest improvements for implementation. Additionally, the position includes providing guidance and coordination for labor planning administration, distributing temporary employee hiring pools, and coordinating the movement of hourly employees with Area Managers. Maintaining records related to labor flow to ensure full staffing of operations is also a key responsibility. The role involves initial setup and management of systems like Kronos and Digi-Pass, ensuring employees are assigned to the correct departments, and coordinating training planning for the area. Continuous learning about best practices for workforce planning and labor distribution is encouraged, along with performing other projects as assigned by leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with labor forecasting and planning
  • Ensure all personnel requisitions are being filed and filled
  • Assist with the placement of the workforce, understand gaps, and take actions to ensure operational stability (including labor pool)
  • Advise managers and directors of developments and current labor needs as well as improvements to implement
  • Provide guidance, coordination, and follow-up necessary to the administration of labor planning
  • Coordinate distribution of temporary employee hiring pool for assigned areas
  • Coordinate movement of planning of hourly employees with Area Managers
  • Maintain records pertinent to labor flow to ensure operations are fully staffed
  • Initial basic set-up / managing Kronos, Digi-Pass, people are in the correct departments
  • Help coordinate training planning for area
  • Continue to grow knowledge of best practices for workforce planning/labor distribution
  • Perform other projects as assigned by leadership
