Where We Need You Protiviti is looking for a Senior Consultant to join our growing People & Change team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • 2+ years working in Workday HCM implementation, Human Capital Consulting, Human Resources Technology, or a related field, either in professional services or industry.
  • Hands-on configuration experience in one or more Workday HCM modules strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Secondary emphasis on Visio and Access.

Nice To Haves

  • Workday Pro Certification in one or more modules preferred.
  • Professional certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PMP, or similar a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the successful completion of project work plans as a mentor, trainer, and coach to Interns and Consultants.
  • Identify areas of risk and opportunities to increase efficiency across Workday HCM implementations and optimization engagements.
  • Strengthen relationships and deepen abilities to communicate, gain trust, and network with client personnel and professional associates.
  • Accept responsibility for decision-making in areas including establishing project scope and work plans, project staffing, preparation of deliverables, and application of methodologies, at the direction of Managers.
  • Support the planning, configuration, and deployment of Workday HCM modules, including but not limited to Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Time Tracking, Recruiting, Talent & Performance, and Employee Help.
  • Collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current-state processes, and design optimized Workday configurations that align with organizational goals.
  • Translate business requirements into system configurations, test scripts, test cases, and training materials that drive successful Workday implementations.
  • Identify improvement opportunities across HR technology functions and recommend practical, scalable solutions that align with client objectives.
  • Support data migration activities, including data mapping, validation, and reconciliation across Workday implementation phases.
  • Develop project documentation, presentations, and client-ready deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stay current on Workday updates, new feature releases, and HR technology trends to provide proactive, value-driven insights to clients.
  • Evaluate, summarize, organize, and interpret HR and workforce data to support configuration and reporting decisions.
  • Establish and cultivate business relationships and a professional network.
  • Translate and communicate HR technology-related issues, risks, or challenges to client personnel, including executives.
  • Provide supervisory experience of teams including mentoring, oversight and review of work, coordination across teams, and understanding how to motivate.
