About The Position

This role is responsible for the configuration, documentation, and management of all Foundational Data Model technical processes within Workday Finance. The analyst will be responsible for testing and planning of Workday quarterly releases, collaborating with Finance functional areas (General Ledger, Expense, AP, etc.) on testing new releases. They will stay current with Finance Workday system enhancements, attend trainings and webinars, and analyze learnings from peer groups, Workday Community, and professional networks. The position involves assisting in developing training curriculum and conducting training sessions on Workday Report Writer, supporting mass data loads (EIBs), proactively identifying and correcting errors in Workday business processes or data configuration, and assisting in troubleshooting complex issues. The analyst will serve as a liaison between Business and Finance, providing systems support and analysis, and leveraging technology solutions to meet the needs of the Finance department. They will work with functional leads to create functional requirements, assist business analysts with configuration, and lead continuous improvement cycles for existing and new business processes for Finance. Testing and analysis will be performed to ensure the system meets customer requirements. The role also manages Adaptive planning security, configuration, and integrations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • 5 years of relevant experience in the field
  • Excel

  • Master's Degree or equivalent
  • 7 years of relevant experience including experience formulating and defining systems scopes and objectives
  • Experience in systems development lifecycle including, requirements gathering and design
  • Participant in multiple phases of an integrated system implementation
  • Background in health care, sciences or information systems

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and define average to large project scopes and objectives based on user needs and system understanding.
  • Participate in project leadership by documenting scope and defining implementation procedures.
  • Provide technical project management, leading new implementations and upgrades, and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Document and drive best practices throughout the system.
  • Perform business analysis, working with users to define needs and document requirements.
  • Collaborate with others to troubleshoot issues with existing systems.
  • Remain current with business or clinical requirements and needs, understanding implications for existing technology.
  • Provide mentorship to less senior team members and act as a role model for customer service excellence.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the software maintenance, administration, and development lifecycle in support of the Organization’s Enterprise Applications.
