About the position

As a Workday Integrations Manager, you will be part of a global collective of innovators dedicated to improving the way the world works and lives. You will lead the design of integrations from point to point systems and holistic interchange services, ensuring effective data quality and dependable exchanges of digital information. Your role will involve identifying, assessing, and solving complex business problems related to integrating the Workday cloud application with external applications across various Human Capital Management and Financial functional areas. You will oversee the integration delivery, manage the development process, and engage with third-party vendors as required. Your responsibilities will also include leading discovery sessions with clients, delivering requirements and design documents to developers, and ensuring that timelines and quality standards are met. You will collaborate with client counterparts to achieve shared objectives and identify process improvements based on project experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of integrations from point to point systems and holistic interchange services.
  • Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems for integrating Workday with external applications.
  • Lead the design, build, and support testing of Workday integration code base including Studio, EIB, and third-party coding.
  • Oversee integration delivery and manage the integration development process.
  • Lead discovery sessions with clients for domain-specific integrations.
  • Deliver requirements and design documents to developers.
  • Ensure timelines and quality of integration are met.
  • Engage with third-party vendors as required.
  • Follow the strategic direction set by leadership for Workday project goals.
  • Collaborate with client counterparts to deliver on shared objectives.
  • Identify and escalate risks and develop alternative technical and functional approaches when necessary.
  • Lead the identification of process improvements and changes to methodology based on project experience.

Requirements

  • Workday Integrations Partner Certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Workday consulting experience, preferably in an Associate Manager or similar role with a large consulting firm.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on Workday Integrations Leadership experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of US and/or Global Integrations Operations experience and 5+ years in modern integration technologies (EDI, Web Services, XML, XSLT, Java, .Net, middleware).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years work experience); if Associate's Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6 years work experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Extensive experience in designer and developer roles with the ability to deliver coded integration work to a production environment.
  • Self-starter with proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent change.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
