About the position

The Workday Administrator at PacificSource is responsible for overseeing the configuration, updates, and troubleshooting of the Workday system, focusing on HR modules such as HCM, Benefits, Time, Absence, Talent, Recruiting, and Learning. This role involves supporting and training end-users, ensuring data integrity, and managing system configurations while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the Workday system, including configuration, updates, and troubleshooting.
  • Create and maintain processes and workflow documents, identifying changes and implementing approved updates.
  • Prepare, test, and execute annual Workday projects and tasks, ensuring timely launch and successful completion.
  • Analyze, validate, and audit system data for accuracy and compliance, developing custom reports and dashboards.
  • Maintain working knowledge of HR functional areas to understand software, data, and reporting needs.
  • Setup and maintain system configurations, automated business processes, and system security.
  • Provide direction and feedback to end users on issue resolution and change management.
  • Research and troubleshoot non-routine HR system issues, creating service requests with vendors as needed.
  • Manage multiple projects with competing priorities to ensure timely handling of requests.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and training support to staff using Workday.
  • Prepare for the bi-annual Workday release cycle, collaborating with SMEs for testing and implementation.
  • Serve as a liaison between HR, information services, external vendors, and stakeholders for HRIS projects.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in HRIS with 2+ years of experience with Workday required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent years of experience required.
  • Ability to interact with and present to all levels of leadership across the company.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Experience performing analysis of data to meet customer needs and aid in decision making.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with teams to gather information for business needs analysis.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with data integrity projects and open enrollment processes.
  • Familiarity with HR functional areas and their software needs.
